I took this wonderful opportunity to become the newest Freelance Learning Designer at Northwestern University where I could bring my knowledge and experience of working at Indiana University Northwest’s Center for Innovation in Scholarship and Teaching (CISTL). At IUN, I was the Instructional Design Specialist for the past four years. I managed, reviewed, and designed over 100 online courses during my four years as IDS. Additionally, I have worked with the Associate Director of CISTL to continuously improve the CISTL Online Course Grant program. I am Quality Matters certified in both APPQMR (Applying the Quality Matters Rubrics) and as a QM Peer Reviewer.
When I’m not involved in designing or revising courses for faculty, I am a proud mom of four, President of St. Elijah Folklore Group, and a volunteer extraordinaire for many clubs and associations my children are involved in. I am enthusiastic about working with Northwestern Faculty and bringing some new ideas to their course development.
