What is Canvas?

Canvas is a Learning Management System (LMS) used by Northwestern faculty for on-ground and online courses alike. In an online course, students will receive their syllabus, readings, lectures, and assignments through Canvas, as well as use it to engage in discussions and group work with their peers.
