I am a freelance learning designer at Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies, contributing to the Distance Learning department by working with graduate instructors in course design and development. I am originally from the New York City area, and have been involved in music and video my entire life.
After over twenty years working in commercial film/video production and post-production, I earned an MS in Instructional Design, Development & Evaluation at Syracuse University. I am also employed at Granite State College (USNH) as an instructional designer for graduate and undergraduate online and hybrid course design and development, and in leading faculty professional development for teaching online. My specialty is in the use of rich media for teaching and learning online.
My interests include a 40+ year interest in bowling (tenpins, candlepins, and duckpins), electronic music, and woodworking. Find my instructional design blog at http://idmodule.com.
