Welcome to Elizabeth Lemke & Krissy Wilson, Learning Designers!

by Christine Scherer

The SPS Distance Learning team is very excited to welcome two more new team members: Elizabeth Lemke and Krissy Wilson. They will both be working as Learning Designers, helping faculty outline, design, and build online courses.

Elizabeth comes to our team from Wiley Publishers, where she worked with Instructional Designers to build online course materials for a variety of clients. She has worked in higher education for several years in many roles, including teaching and designing courses.

Krissy joins us after working as an Instructional Designer at DePaul University, a role in which she worked with faculty to design courses in numerous fields. Prior to becoming an Instructional Designer, she worked in libraries as a cataloger, scanning technician, and special collections assistant.

We’re glad to have them on board, and we look forward to working with them in the coming quarters.

In additional exciting news, our office has moved! We are now on the Chicago campus in Abbott Hall’s recently renovated office space. This space features improved meeting rooms and a video recording studio– keep an eye out for more news about that soon. We’re excited to meet with and work with our faculty and partners in our new space.
