The first topic in our Online Learning Webinar series was Flipgrid, a video collaboration tool created and pioneered at the University of Minnesota. Flipgrid allows instructors to interact with students through short and informative self-created video clips. The goal of Flipgrid is to boost community and collaboration.

On Wednesday, Kevin Soran of Flipgrid presented the tool to interested faculty through an Adobe Connect session. A recording of the session can be viewed here.

Additionally, the Distance Learning team created a publicly available Canvas site and embedded a Flipgrid to showcase the tool and to allow faculty to test the platform. We invite you to visit the site and post a response to the grid.
